The HP Software Analyzer runs on the host and
has two functions:
It correlates the (static)
source code of the program running on
the ICED processor with the (dynamic) code executed by the ICED
processor.
The software analyzer also allows remote control and operation
of the logic analyzer from the host. The screen of the logic
analyzer appears in color in an X-window on the host.
Both functions are started when the software analyzer executes.
Operation:
On the Sun (Unix) host type:
swa &
on a command line to start the software analyzer.
Several windows will appear. Enter the network name of the
logic analyzer of your lab station; this is a name of the
form:

where * is a number from 1 to 5. Alternatively, you
can enter the logic analyzer's IP address. Both of these
names are obtainable from the logic analyzer's
"System/External I/O /LAN Settings" screen ???
