Protosys software; the information on the HP Symbol Utility is
especially relevant for ICED compilers or assemblers:
icasm Assembler
- re-targetable assembler. Version shown is for ICED canned
CPU (IcpuED).
HP Symbol Utility
- enables logic analyzer to recognize assembler or
compiler labels on the ICED bus
- used alone or (more likely) with Disassembler or
Software Analyzer (see below)
HP Disassembler (for IcpuED)
- enables logic analyzer to decode and label instructions on the
ICED or other system bus
- requires use of the HP Symbol Utility (see above)
HP Software Analyzer
- enables logic analyzer and Sun host to correlate dynamic
program execution with the static program source code
- requires use of the HP Symbol Utility (see above)
